Looking for a wedding venue in Newbury? Look no further. Shaw House is available for the first time to hire as an exclusive wedding venue. Built in the 16th Century, Shaw House is a Grade I listed country house in Newbury and is surely one of the most historic and unique wedding venues in Berkshire. The modern conveniences and luxuries of today combine with the unique history of nearly five centuries in existence, to provide a setting that will give you both the first of a lifetime of happy memories as a married couple.

Shaw House has hosted many monarchs, Elizabeth I, James I, Charles II and Queen Anne being among the most prestigious. As a Grade I listed building Shaw House must be the most historically rich wedding venue in Newbury. For the last named, additional rooms were added to the building in 1703 for her stay. Now for the first time in its 500-year-old history the house is available as an exclusive and unique wedding venue. The Queen Anne Room is one of the available wedding ceremony rooms where you and your partner will exchange your vows, and at once our history will become part of your history.
